Wondering what New year means to me ? For me, New year is just another day !

I stopped actively celebrating the new year a few years now as

“The pressure to be happy and peaceful on that ONE DAY of the year so that the entire year’s happiness is secured ” was too much stress for me.

To be forcefully and intentionally HAPPY on the first day of the year didn’t make any sense to me. Then I have to be happy on the first day of Tamil New year… Then I have to be happy on the first day of my birthday year…. and the list is endless.

I felt very relieved and happy when I stopped celebrating all of the FIRST DAYs ! 😅
